Rin's route changed my life, I replayed it a few years ago and it inspired me to start making art. I'm not very talented but drawing and painting brings me so much joy, and I don't think I'd have the courage to do so if it weren't for her. Played this game almost 10 years ago for the first time, did the Hanako route, liked it ok, then got Kenji'd and forgot about it Started it again a few months back, did Emi => Lilly => Hanako => Shizune => Rin Emi best girl. I was running off and on before but she motivated me to keep running. I imagine myself "at my Emiest" every time and it gives me the energy to keep going. Rin's route is also fantastic. In hindsight, I didn't enjoy Hanako's a lot, mostly because it's very "typical". I wish there was more.
