I think we can go back. We just have to really believe in it, manifest it. If we change our surroundings. Change our environment, our habits. Everything to match what we did and how things looked in the 2000s. If we do that, then would we really live in the current year? We could be in the 2000s for eternity.

In 2002 I had the same type of setup. So cozy. A year later I upgraded my PC, so I used the other one to download torrents 23 hours a day.
I'm so glad I grew up before the internet. People these days aren't living life properly. All because of the smart phone in their hand.
