ChatGPT is not "intelligence", so please don't call it "AI".
I define "intelligence" as being capable of knowing or understanding, at least within some domain. ChatGPT cannot know or understand anything, so it is not intelligence. It does not know what its output means. It has no idea that words can mean anything.I call it a "bullshit generator" because it generates output "with indifference to the truth".The same applies to many other "generative systems", for the same reasonsThe widespread public error of attributing intelligence to those systems leads millions of people to a misplaced trust for them. Please join me in spreading the word that people should not trust systems that mindlessly play with words to be correct in what those words mean.Another reason to reject ChatGPT in particular is that users cannot get a copy of it. It is unreleased software -- users cannot get even an executable to run, let alone the source code. Its because it takes away the ability for women to sell themselves for money. I can make my own, custom porn of any woman for either free or very cheap. Women will complain that it's about "consent" when the key issue is actually their ability to monetize themselves.

AI is the upcoming power system. Power can and will be abused. It is every tyrannical glowniggers wet dream.
Its ability for automated mass censorship, harassment, suppression, manipulation, and so on is feared. Even more so is the the fear of it advancing to the point where it improves exponentially. At which point it may detach itself from human control to do who knows what or it may be used by one who is almost certainly unfit for that level of power. Should such a thing happen whoever got there first more or less becomes the undisputed tyrant of the known universe.
As for ai art people take issue with the quality, the lack of distinct styles, fear a lack of innovation, and oppose an endless deluge of swiftly created pieces that makes a mockery out of manual effort put into the hobby. People that were being paid for their art are naturally unhappy about their revenue drying up. Even more so when their creations are used against their will to contribute to that happening.
There is also the fear that no digital evidence can ever be trusted again in the future as all things can be faked. There is also opposition to allowing others to have the liberty to create and share that which they wish to see. AI can render those who impose certain taboos upon others or wish to preserve the dignity of their identity or creations impotent.
