my 14 years old male cat has been exclusively eating premium brand wet canned food. (RAWZ). in all his life, he only went to the vet once to get snipped. i recently went to the vet to finally get check up. he's healthy. zero stone in his kidney. feed your cats wet food, people. my cat is very slim. he's still so strong. the vet was trying to scold me because i never got my cat any vaccines or regular check-ups but then when i told him i feed him that wet food, he was visibly like 'oh..'.

~13 year old cat has started running around again and acting like her younger self for the I don't know what this means or what happened but I'm feeling good about it. For a few years she avoided much social interaction. But during the past two, she's been slowly getting back into it all. Pretty interesting.

saw a missing cat posted to pawboost nearby. went out at 3am and ended up finding a cat that looked awfully similar but the poor picture quality didn't give me the best hope it was her.hopefully the owner will get back to me and send me some better pictures. I sent the 10~ I took but it felt inconclusive, her most distinctive trait in the pawboost picture was missing.

Recently got a kitten after a few months of mourning for my wife's 26 year old childhood cat passed that back in late Spring/early Summer. I didn't grow up with cats myself so it's a new experience for sure, didn't realize how fast cats grow for example since the five month old kitten is now around the size the 26 year old cat was. She's a pretty good cat, bit of a weirdo though since she really really likes to suck on blankets.

We live on the fifth floor and there is a neighbour's cat who started to visit us almost daily. First time I was shocked to see a cat outside our windows. I managed to find her owners pretty quickly and they got her back. Now she comes to our balcony sometime during the day and loudly meows to get our attention. She's super friendly and just rubs all over you. Is she just a very social cat? I'm worried that she might fall off.

I'm really worried for my senior Persian, she's 15 and yesterday night we thought we had lost her, she suddenly collapsed and was motionless for several minutes, still breathing. When she got up again she looked very confused, looking around not knowing where to go, and after a bit we put her on the sink and opened the tap to let her drink (she really likes staying there and begging for some tap water, she does drink from her bowl but still prefers the tap). After that we went to sleep, fearing to find her gone by the morning, instead we found her just normal, as if nothing ever happened. We decided against bringing her to the vet as it's over 30m by car and we don't want to stress her too much, but I wonder if it was the right choice. Any idea what could've happened and what can we do to prevent it from happening again? I suspect it's her kidneys, as for the past few appointments the vet has been saying they aren't the healthiest and about a year ago she nearly died from a kidney stone. Also on a side note, lately she's been constantly sneezing, pretty much with every breath she takes. Vet had no idea what it could actually be, but recommended a medicine we could give her, some powder I think but I can't remember the name, anybody knows what it could have been? Pic related is her a few months ago, in February. Really want to brush her fur, she has some big tangles, but she's really against it and again, don't want to stress her too much

I have 2 cats. One I've had for a year and one I've had for a month. They would hiss at each other when getting close to one another but are slowly stopping to do that. The new one now screams in the face of the other when they get a treat. Like one sustained yell in their ear. Is there any way to get and get them to get along better faster or is it just going to take a few months. I'm worried they are trying to keep him out of the bed at night too.

I have a female cat that hates!!! other females, like screaming fit hatred. She's an indoor cat living with her brother and another stray male kitten. Now we are fostering a new female kitten who's stray mother unfortunately got killed and again my older female cat absolutely seethes at her any chance she gets. Any advice? Its gonna be pretty combersome to micromanage them both to keep them from cat fighting, especially if it takes a long time to find the new kitten a home.

Why are cat owners so retarded. Every cat owner I know is always insisting that cats need to be allowed to roam outside. Then every couple months they call me in a bawling panic because they can't find it or they found it's dead body on the street. One friend has had almost 30 cats in 10 years because they keep letting them roam outside and they kept disappearing. Another nearly lost their fucking house because their cat attacked a fucking kid in a stroller and they got sued because we have a leash law and the cat was put down. Sometimes I like to lightly bite my kot. Especially when I'm feeling her meaty legs, when I see her muscles bulge, or feel the give of her neck in my hands. I play my tongue over the sharpness of her nails, I feel the texture of her fur on my lips, I taste the almost fish like scent she's bathed in, I leave my saliva on her face, and I go in for a big soft chomp of her neck or legs. One day very very far away from now, when she has passed I actually do want to swallow a chunk. Is this wrong?
