Post animals that instill a fear of dread into you, animals that tell you there is no god or if there is he's a sick bastard for making it.
For instance, Cymothoa exigua, the tongue eating louse. It severs the blood vessels in a host's tongue making it rot and fall off, then, taking its place, feeds on the host's blood, mucus, and bits of whatever the fish eats.

Toad flies
They lay their eggs near the nostrils of toads, the maggots then eat eat their way inside their sinuses while the frog is still alive and unable to pick them out. The end result can be pretty horrific

What if Satan rules the Earth and thus rules evolution? According to the Bible, Satan is described as the ruler of this world (John 12:31, 14:30; 2 Corinthians 4:4), but his authority is limited and permitted by God?Satan is limited to only changing Gods creations it cannot create new life. Therefore, all life used to be beautiful and lovable but then evolved into these brutal, sadistic creatures that eat things alive.Just a little food for thought if you are a believer.

Friendly reminder that parasites are incredibly important to the ecosystem. Most predators can only eat parasitized prey.Otherwise predators would have to be more fearsome and intelligent or prey would have to be even dumber and less complex resulting in a more fragile and overspecialized ecology, and the world would be a bit shittier all around instead of just sometimes if you eat raw meat, rub shit into your eyes, and bathe in pee.
