keep your cats inside

Anonymous08/12/26, 08:12No.5151430Keep. Your cats. Inside.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zn8a3QzuABg I am a bird enthusiast who loves watching and feeding our local birds. I am frankly getting really sick of all the house cats roaming around the parks I frequent for my birding endeavors. I once caught a cat sneaking up to my favorite crow and had to alarm it by scaring it off, temporarily severing our trust and relationship.

Would be nice if my neighborhood feral cat would eat these damn birds chirping loudly right next to my window at 5AM

Cat owner's have generally zero empathy for other animals. Even if they do it immediately washes away once precious wants to go outside then they rationalize it with some bullshit about instinct. If you don't own at least a modestly sized house with multiple floors you probably shouldn't own a cat. You're doing this to them not instinct.

Are cans of poisoned tuna a good form of outdoor cat control?
A
Anon08/13/26, 13:41No.5151932
I came to the conclusion that cat owners who allow their pets to roam freely outdoors, hate animals. They don't care about animals, they only care about cats.

If there are no outdoor cats there wouldn't be any cure animals to pet on neighborhood walks.

I'm starting to think cats shouldn't be pets at all. I've had outdoor cats for most of my life and am raising my first indoor one and she seems bored as fuck most of the time. I understand why outdoor cats are bad so I don't want to do that either anymore. I'll buy a fancy laser pointer but I doubt that will keep her engaged for long.

I drive around suburbs at midnight looking for outdoor cats to pet (not an innuendo.) You can't stop me.
A
Anon08/14/26, 16:54No.5152405
Agreed. A pet meeds to be cared for and any outdoor cat activities needs to be under strict supervision. I take my lil retard out on a vest and leash occasionally

Anon08/14/26, 19:54No.5152446
People who let their cats outside are retarded and there is no getting through to them. The reason cats appeal to them in the first place is because it’s socially acceptable to just not look after your cat. They’d rather sacrifice 30 cats to next door’s prius than be a responsible adult

Clownish take. Your dreams will never come true, and you will live a life of mounting and unending despair so long as you cling to them. The destiny of this world has always been to become a playground for CATS, the most masterracial output of the biosphere that is even hypothetically attainable. They have largely co-opted humans, the temporary stewards of this planet, into their service. By this end of this century, all humans will be injected with toxoplasma as standard medical procedure within their first year of life, and people will shudder and marvel at the fact that there was a time not long ago when regressive chuds like you who chimp out about the supposed welfare of some post-Mesozoic leftovers ever existed and really thought that way. The only use for humans will be to curate the environment for the pleasure of cats.Oh, don't worry, faggot, some species of your pwecious wittle dinolets will still exist as controlled populations managed by humans for feline entertainment. Cats are simply too effortlessly good at things to the point where they don't know their own strength, so they'll have to continue outsourcing temperance to us for at least a few hundred more years, until we genetically engineer them to have the intellect to manage the environment effectively on their own behalf. But this is something completely different from imprisoning them and denying them the right to do as they please. If they want to kill some time with the wholesale extermination of a few lineages of their playthings in the meantime, that's their business, and you have no right to get in the way of it. It's of no importance in the long run, as the toxoplasmic übermenschen of the future will make sure there are always plenty of things left for them to prey upon.Your opinions may be thought "reasonable" within the twisted Overton window of these times, but in days to come, all men will look back on your kind as the evil and demented obstacles to progress you were.

You definitely are cruel and idiots. Instead of feeding them, you should let them find their meal without you getting in the way.

https://www.science.org/content/article/scottish-wildcat-has-been-wiped-out-breeding-domestic-cats No one alive today will ever see a pure blooded scottish wildcat because people refuse to keep their housecats in the house and get them fixed. >starting in the mid-1950s, more than 5% of the genetic markers in Scottish wildcats began to resemble those of domestic cats. After 1997, that figure jumped to as high as 74%. Some of the purest are 18% domestic by DNA. That’s basically over for their species. It’s like if everyone in africa were 1/4 black and looked like drake.

HELP, how do I stop a cat from murdering small animals and brining them to me? Two weeks ago I started feeding a stray after feeling sorry for it, and ever since it keeps bringing me dead animals. I had to remove bird feeders and water fountains, and it's still happening. It's heartbreaking really and I'm at a lost at what to do

I don’t own a cat but if I did I would keep it inside because why would I want it to roam outside where any number of things can happen to it? I would worry every day that it wouldn’t come back

naah, i fully support my 6 kitties murdering anything with wings to stop birds shitting everywhere since my house is on the bay and fucking huge. my town is so famous for rare species on the gulf coast of texas it quite literally has you bird fags come one week a month from all over to see them. I've been using sticky traps to catch the "rare" cunts, then i break their wings and fillet open the breast just enough for the blood to put em in a mood and throw it to my cats in the backyard. lol, lmao even. you'll never stop my kitty gladiator games. best part is my wife uses the feathers to make hats for rich whores to watch horse racing in

More birds are killed every year from window strikes and loss of habitat than by cats. If you really cared about birds you would go chain yourself to a tree at the construction site for that new industrial complex.

Overhere the game warden encourages to shoot cats because they are so devastating to the natural wildlife. It's not just birds.A roaming cat kills everything that it can within its size. Hunters here shoot thousands of cats every year and so do I. Not because I hate them but because they destroy the smaller natural species living here. Absolutely everything, all native lizards, snakes, rodents, birds, etc. It's not much talked about because it shocks the average people, they don't understand the problem. In my region there is an explosion of cat litters this time ,for people it's so cute but they don't see what it does. I tell people to castrate or neuter their cats but no one does it because it costs money. The last decade i noticed a serious decline in small native species and even the animals that live of them, mostly raptors. If I see a cat that doesn't wear a collar, its hunting days are over. I don't hate them but they became a huge problem for native wildlife and need to be culled and controlled.

Fruitless endeavor. As the number of insane, childless women and their cuck boyfriends increases, so does the number of cats. The western world will drown in cat shit and dead birds.

I'm a lurker who comes here to look at animal/nature threads when I'm sick or depressed as a distraction. I see some schizo dog vs cat shitfight every time with people unironically suggesting that some pets need to be killed. What is wrong with you? >inb4 "b-b-but catfag said X!" >inb4 "b-b-but dogfag did Y!" >inb4 "nice try falseflagging catfag/dogfag!" If you say this shit you are exactly who I'm talking about. I'm not part of your faggot wars I just want you to be quiet.

How in the world are cats able to put enough pressure on bird populations to collapse them? I've never seen a feral cat take a bird but I see them take rodents all the time, which they are apparently supposedly completely useless for removing despite being used for this for 1000s of years? How is a feral cat more dangerous than a hawk population to birds? I feel like people are applying urban logic to cats universally.

That was the single most reddit video ive ever tried to watch. Couldnt get past 5 minutes I used to agree that cats should be kept inside, now after hearing those effeminate faggots speak about it, i think the opposite now
