Keeping pigs as meat animals is pretty low and they’re probably the worst animal man domesticatedThey’re basically uglier, more useless dogs (less social cognition, minutely better spatial skills) that are almost as dangerous as a pitbull. If you eat pig you’d eat pitbull and maybe rottweiler but wouldnt eat a german shepherd or a mastiff.

I occurred to me while reading the thread that plants also get smashed and slammed but we don't really see them the same way as animals.
Thinking like corn, banana, watermelon that has been selectively breed to the point that it can no longer survive without human help. We see it as normal when it barely resembles the original plant, dumps tremendous amounts on energy into their fruit and can't reproduce on their own. They serve a purpose but they're also so fucked up that they would go extinct in a couple years if we let them.
Slammed plants for aesthetics are like those monstera varieties that barely produce chlorophyll.

Do silkies count? Sure, they're aren't exactly dysgenic, but they did end up with 5 toes, hair like feathers which can hurt them if not cut and retains water too well that rain can also kill them, and their skin is black-blue while their bones are black.
