What I find morbidly funny about toadlines is that it has now reached a point where their breeding has become more closely aligned to plants than actual mammals. The most inbred dog breeds in the world are still fertile. Bulldogs, for how badly they have been mangled genetically, can still give birth with medical assistance. Same with sausage dogs. In the plant world however, if you keep having plants polinate themselves generation to generation or go out of your way to creat inter-cultivar hybirds, you get sterile seeds. There is a metric fuckton of crops we rely on and take for granted which are all sterile yet cultivate regardless. But, with plants, it's normal to just clone from cuttings. Doesn't matter how mangled genetically you get with ornamental pink houseplant leaf #1224 or uber steroid cattlefeed beetroot GMO reg #582930, you just grow a copy. To get to this point with plants we have had to cultivate for literally 100s of years, yet, here we are now having a line of dogs which the most yielding breeding strategy appears to be to just clone them. We are turning them into fucking bananas, and the chinese want in on it.
