Source Filmmaker despite it's abanonware status is still the easiest to pick up and get results with because of sfmlab.com

Apparently anyone that happens to use blender is automatically a "blender cultist", might say more about the guy who assigns people such a label, god forbid someone RECOMMENDS a program they use sometimesanyways cope, blender is good for animation
is it the best? who knows and who cares. it's an option for a starting point

Blender is fine for starting out, ignore anything else honestly anon. I also have found trouble finding reliable Animation Tutorials on YT, and the one Andrew does in the donut tutorial is fine but not very helpful. If you have anything you've been using or watching please share it, im interested aswell.

GENTLEMEN... and dare i say... ladies(?).. lol ok maybe blender sucks idk ive never really used anything else. its also free. 0 dollar. and if anything theres no way its not ABSOLUTELY SUFFICIENT to learn the principles of animation on to then later transfer to something like maya or whatever. Pretty please if u read this stop spectacularly falling for bait it makes u look silly kekIll restate OPs question but add some leading questions.
Where should a beginner begin 3D anim? is there a specific workflow or concepts i should study? is there a specific few videos or creators you would recommend? could you give any encouragement as to relate your own experience learning at first?
